Fidelity Bank Launches SME Hub and Free Training in Kano

Fidelity Bank has inaugurated Nigeria's first dedicated SME Hub in Kano, alongside free nationwide training programs aimed at supporting small businesses. The initiatives were revealed during a town hall meeting with business owners on Wednesday.
Mrs. Gochi Osinigwe, Divisional Head of SME and Digital Banking, emphasized the bank's commitment to assist customers from startup to large enterprise stages. She highlighted that SMEs contribute at least 80% of Nigeria's GDP, underscoring their importance to national development.
The Fidelity SME Hub allows entrepreneurs to operate without the burden of upfront rent. The bank also offers zero account maintenance fees and collateral-free loans based on business turnover.
Training sessions, which are free for participants, cover essential topics such as business structuring and access to finance. These sessions attract between 600 to 1,000 participants and are available to both customers and non-customers.
The bank has also introduced special products for women, renewable energy, and youth.
