FIFA Boosts Football in Niger with 2 Mini-Pitches

FIFA has launched two FIFA Arena mini-pitches in Niger to enhance football development among youth, particularly in Niamei. The initiative, part of the FIFA Forward program, aims to provide a safe and inspiring space for students to hone their football skills, benefiting around 10,000 young individuals in the community.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino commended the project as a significant milestone for football development in Niger, with Issaka Adam of FENIFOOT expressing optimism for the future of grassroots football in the country. Elkhan Mammadov, a FIFA chief member, highlighted the positive impact the mini-pitches will have on the local youth.
