Super Eagles Players Arrive in Turkey for Friendlies

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have commenced their training camp in Antalya, Turkey, with fifteen players reporting for duty ahead of friendly matches against Iran and Jordan. The camp officially opened on Tuesday, March 24, with the coaching staff, including assistant coach Daniel Ogunmoded and medical personnel, arriving earlier to finalize arrangements.

Players who have arrived include notable names such as forward Samuel Chukwueze and goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, alongside Alex Iwobi, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, and others. The squad features a mix of midfielders and defenders, including Semi Ajayi and Bruno Onyemaechi.

The team is currently lodged at a deluxe hotel in Antalya, with their first training session scheduled for 4 PM local time on March 25. Nigeria is set to face Iran on Friday, March 27, at 4 PM Nigerian time, followed by a match against Jordan on Tuesday, March 31, at 8 PM.

Notably absent from the squad are Victor Osimhen and Ola Aina, as well as first-choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali.
