NNCYA Commends Tinubu, Ribadu, Musa for Trump’s Praise

The Northern Nigeria Christian Youth Association (NNCYA) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, National Security Adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and Minister of Defence General Christopher Gwabin Musa (Rtd) following commendation from U.S. President Donald Trump.

Trump recognized Nigeria's efforts in combating terrorism and safeguarding vulnerable Christian communities. The NNCYA stated that this recognition reflects the Federal Government's commitment to addressing insecurity, particularly in Northern Nigeria.

In a statement by National Secretary Bason Sunday, the NNCYA highlighted Trump's acknowledgment of the U.S.-Nigeria 2026 Defence Cooperation Roadmap and successful joint counter-terrorism operations, including the neutralization of top ISIS leaders in the Lake Chad region. The association commended Ribadu for his strategic intelligence coordination and Musa for his inclusive leadership of the armed forces, emphasizing their roles in revitalizing Nigeria's security architecture.

The NNCYA urged unity among Nigerians to support ongoing peace initiatives, asserting that the commendation validates Tinubu's administration's decisive actions to protect all citizens.
