ADC Criticizes Tinubu's Focus on Political Battles

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has condemned President Bola Tinubu's statement regarding his readiness to "fight to the finish" politically. In a statement issued by the ADC's National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the party urged Tinubu to redirect his efforts towards addressing the pressing issues of terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping in Nigeria.

This criticism came shortly after a violent incident in Naridon village, Kauru Local Government Area, Kaduna State, where gunmen killed at least 30 individuals. The ADC emphasized that Nigerians expect decisive action against insecurity rather than political confrontations.

They pointed out that the President's remarks were particularly troubling as they were made during a meeting with members of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. The ADC stated that the ongoing violence has left communities devastated and called for stronger government action to protect citizens and restore safety.
