Adamawa Governor Pardons Six Inmates for Nigeria's 65th Independence

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State pardoned six inmates in honor of Nigeria's 65th Independence Day. The Chief Press Secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou, announced the pardon, stating that the inmates had shown significant behavioral improvement.

The Governor exercised his prerogative of mercy in line with the constitution and the recommendation of the Adamawa State Advisory Council on Prerogative of Mercy. The pardoned inmates, who had demonstrated good conduct, were immediately discharged.

The names of the released individuals are Wamari Godwin, Abraham Marksunil, David Paul, Ibrahim Adamu, Usman Inuwa, and Sani Yahaya.
