Governor Adeleke Grants Amnesty to 31 Convicts on Independence Day

Governor Adeleke of Osun State has granted amnesty to 31 convicts in commemoration of Nigeria's 65th Independence Day. The decision, based on the power conferred by the Constitution and following recommendations from the State Advisory Council on Prerogative of Mercy, reflects compassion and justice.

The convicts, held at the Ilesa and Ile-Ife Correctional Centres, were granted freedom as a gesture of renewal on Independence Day. The list of beneficiaries includes names like Kehinde Ganiyu, Oluwatosin Femi, and Abdulgafar Quadri, among others.
