Federal Fire Service Unveils New Quarter Guards in Abuja

On Tuesday in Abuja, CG Adeyemi of the Federal Fire Service unveiled newly constructed Quarter Guards at the Wuse Command and the National Headquarters. He highlighted that the project symbolizes a culture of ownership, commitment, discipline, and pride within the Service.

Adeyemi noted that this initiative was unique as it was conceived, designed, and executed voluntarily by officers, reflecting their belief in the vision of the Federal Fire Service. He recalled prioritizing personnel welfare upon assuming office about a year ago, redirecting funds meant for a grand reception to purchase mattresses and other welfare items for firefighters nationwide.

Adeyemi also initiated a Medical Intervention Scheme and increased the interest-free loan for personnel from N300,000 to N500,000. He commended the officers involved in the Quarter Guards project for their selfless contributions and directed DCG M.A.

Tambari to document this initiative for recognition. Adeyemi urged all officers to emulate the spirit of excellence and innovation demonstrated by the project initiators.
