Kwara State Fire Service Prevents Disaster After Petrol Tanker Overturns

The Kwara State Fire Service successfully prevented a major disaster after a petrol tanker overturned in Eyenkorin suburb of Ilorin, Kwara State. The incident occurred due to brake failure on the Ilorin-Ogbomoso expressway.

The leadership's swift intervention and the firefighters' prompt response secured the area, drenched the environment, and emptied the tanker to prevent further danger. Director Princ Falad Olumuyiwa advised motorists, especially truck operators carrying flammable products, to ensure regular maintenance of brake systems for safe driving standards.
