Fire Contained at Abuja Head of Service Office

On Monday morning, a fire outbreak occurred at the Head of Service office located within the Federal Secretariat Complex in Abuja. The incident was reported to have taken place in Section C of the building.

The Federal Fire Service responded swiftly to the situation, successfully bringing it under control. Abraham, the head of the Corporate Services Agency, confirmed that there was no cause for alarm following the fire incident.

Eyewitness footage circulated on social media, showing thick plumes of dark smoke rising from the upper floors of the multi-storey government building. The video, reportedly recorded around 8:00 AM, depicted dense black smoke billowing from a specific section of the structure, leading to the evacuation of staff members.

Emergency officials were deployed to the scene, and an investigation into the exact cause of the fire is set to commence once the situation is fully stabilized.
