OHCSF Launches Probe into Abuja Federal Secretariat Fire

The Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) has initiated a probe into a fire outbreak that occurred on Monday morning at the Federal Secretariat Complex in Abuja. The incident was reported to have affected the 4th floor of Block C, which houses the National Board for Technology Incubation.

Upon detection of the fire in the early hours, emergency protocols were activated immediately. The Federal Fire Service and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) responded effectively to the situation, successfully extinguishing the fire.

Mr. Eno Olotu, the Director of Information, confirmed that no casualties were recorded, and all staff members on the affected floor were safely evacuated without injury.

The Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Didi Esther Walson Jack, commended the prompt and efficient response of the emergency services and assured that a thorough investigation would be conducted to determine the immediate cause of the fire and to avert future occurrences.
