Federal Government Power Company Seeks Collaboration to Boost Power Supply in Kwara State

The Federal Government Power Company, through its President of Power Initiatives, is engaging with Kwara State to improve power supply in the region. During a stakeholder meeting involving officials from the Ministry of Energy and representatives from the Transmission Company of Nigeria, the collaboration was discussed.

The Minister of Energy, Rukayat Abdulhameed, and the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olaitan Afolabi, expressed support for the initiative, highlighting the Federal Government's efforts to enhance infrastructure.

Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, has already initiated the installation of 34 transformers across the state to demonstrate the government's commitment to welfare and development. The project is expected to attract investors, create job opportunities, and stabilize electricity supply, benefiting both commercial and residential activities.

Key figures involved in the collaboration include Chizoba Ezeok, Yakuba Adam, Fisayo Dada, Segun Adedeji, and Daniel Omatsyein.
