Five Arrested in Bauchi with Human Eyes for Rituals

In Bauchi, five individuals identified as Abdullahi Idris, Sani Haruna, Auwal Umar, Abubakar Yusuf, and Sharu Sale were arrested by the Zone 12 Police. They were found in possession of two human eyes, white and red cloth, and other materials suspected to be used for money ritual purposes.

The arrest was confirmed by SP Jalige Mohammad, the Zone 12 Public Relations Officer, who stated that the suspects are currently in custody and undergoing interrogation. Ongoing investigations aim to uncover further details about the case, including the potential arrest of additional accomplices and the source of the recovered items.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police condemned the act and urged the public, including parents and guardians, to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the police. The AIG reassured the community of the police's commitment to eliminating criminal elements and ensuring public safety.
