Shehu Urges National Assembly to Address Real Issues, Not Nonsensical Laws

Social critic Mahdi Shehu has called on the National Assembly to focus on addressing real issues instead of passing what he termed as nonsensical laws. Shehu criticized lawmakers for taking advantage of the public's docility and urged them to prioritize laws that would benefit the majority of Nigerians.

He highlighted the need for legislation that tackles visible crimes affecting governance and development in the country, such as budget padding and terrorism. Shehu emphasized the importance of sensible laws over nonsensical ones.
