Oyo APC Reconciliation Committee Submits Report Amid Absences

On Wednesday, the 2023 governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Teslim Folarin, and former Minister of Power and governorship aspirant, Bayo Adelabu, were absent from a meeting led by the party’s national chairman, Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, in Ibadan. Other notable absentees included Akeem Agbaje, Hakeem Alao, and former deputy governor Rauf Olaniyan.

Yilwatda stated that the reconciliation of aggrieved members is a continuous process crucial for the party's success in the 2027 general elections. He emphasized that the APC is a family and that addressing internal challenges is essential for stability.

The chairman of the Oyo APC reconciliation committee, Femi Lanlehin, reported that the committee had met with aggrieved aspirants and presented findings to Yilwatda. He noted that the APC leadership plans to meet with President Bola Tinubu to further resolve these issues.
