Oyo APC Reconciliation Committee Submits Findings Amid Absences

On Wednesday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State submitted the findings of its reconciliation committee to the National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, in Ibadan. Notably absent were governorship aspirants Teslim Folarin, Bayo Adelabu, Akeem Agbaje, Hakeem Alao, and Rauf Olaniyan.

Yilwatda described the reconciliation of aggrieved members as a continuous process, stating, “The APC is a family,” and assured that the party is stable and ready for the upcoming elections. Femi Lanlehin, chairman of the reconciliation committee, confirmed that the committee had met with all aggrieved aspirants and presented their findings to Yilwatda.

He highlighted the importance of resolving these issues before the 2027 elections, expressing confidence that the APC would win all elective positions in Oyo State. The meeting also included the party's governorship candidate, Sharafadeen Alli, and aimed to reconcile aggrieved aspirants and their supporters across the state's 33 Local Government Areas.
