Pastor Tunde Bakare Urges Lawyers to Emulate Gani Fawehinmi's Integrity for Judicial Reform

Pastor Tunde Bakare called on Nigerian lawyers and judges to follow the example of late Chief Gani Fawehinmi in restoring integrity and public trust in the justice system. Speaking at the 22nd Chief Gani Fawehinmi Annual Lecture organized by the Nigerian Bar Association, Ikeja branch in Lagos, Bakare emphasized the prevalence of corruption in the legal sector, citing reports of bribery and falsification of court documents.

He urged legal professionals to reclaim moral authority and uphold values exemplified by Fawehinmi. The event aimed to address the deficiencies in the justice sector and the need for the legal profession to uphold ethical standards.
