Fubara Urges Leaders to Prioritize Justice in Nigeria

On Wednesday night, during a state banquet held at the Government House in Port Harcourt, River State Governor Siminalayi Fubara called on Nigerian leaders to prioritize justice over personal interests. His remarks were made in honor of retired Justice Daniel Kalio, who served in the Court of Appeal in Asaba.

Fubara emphasized the need for leaders to maintain high standards in public service and to restore integrity, urging that personal interests should not override these standards. He described Justice Kalio as a model for upcoming young politicians and lawyers, highlighting the importance of striving to do the right thing and defending justice.

Although Justice Kalio has retired, Fubara noted that he remains capable of contributing to the development of River State and encouraged him to share his wealth of knowledge and experience whenever needed. The governor expressed gratitude to the guests present, marking the significance of the event for his administration.
