Forcados, Bonny Terminals Boost Oil Output To 1.71 million bpd

Nigeria's crude oil output saw a significant increase in July 2025, reaching an average of 1.71 million barrels per day (bpd). The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) reported that the Forcados and Bonny terminals played a crucial role in boosting production, with a 7% surge compared to July 2024.

Forcados terminal recorded the highest output at 1 million barrels, a 9% increase from the previous month, while Bonny terminal saw a 6% increase to 1 million barrels. Other terminals such as Qua Iboe, Escravos, Bonga, Odudu Amenam Blend, and Brass also contributed to the overall increase in production.

The data reflects a positive trend in Nigeria's oil industry, with terminals showing growth in output and performance.
