Bolarinwa Declares Candidacy for Kwara Governorship 2027

Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, known as Bob, has officially declared his candidacy for the 2027 Kwara State governorship elections. At an event attended by party members and supporters, he pledged to prioritize security and human capital development in his administration.

Bolarinwa's motivation to run stems from a desire to serve the people at a higher level, drawing on his extensive political experience, which includes roles as a councillor, local government chairman, and member of the National Assembly. He emphasized the need to address insecurity, particularly the rising concerns of killings and kidnappings in Kwara.

Bolarinwa, who previously served as the chairman of the APC in Kwara State, called on party leaders and residents to support his vision for inclusive governance and economic expansion. The event attracted several dignitaries, including former speakers and deputy speakers of the Kwara House of Assembly, as well as other notable APC elders.
