Kwara APC Aspirant Bolarinwa Pledges to Tackle Insecurity

Bashir Bolarinwa, a governorship aspirant for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, has announced his commitment to tackling insecurity and improving the welfare of citizens as he prepares for the 2027 general elections. In a statement from his media office, Bolarinwa expressed his intent to run for governor, officially marking the beginning of his campaign for the state's highest office.

He highlighted that restoring peace and strengthening public safety would be his administration's priorities, particularly in light of recent humanitarian crises resulting from bandit attacks in Kwara North and South. Bolarinwa emphasized the importance of social services, quality healthcare, education, and social welfare, stating that these areas would receive focused attention under his leadership.

He also expressed confidence in his chances against the incumbent governor, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, and noted his extensive experience in public service, including roles as a councillor, two-term chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, and two-term member of the House of Representatives.
