Bolarinwa Declares Candidacy for Kwara Governorship 2027

Bolarinwa, the former chairman of the APC, has announced his candidacy for the 2027 governorship election in Kwara State. He made this declaration at an event attended by party members, emphasizing his commitment to addressing insecurity, which has seen a rise in incidents of killings and kidnappings in the state.

Bolarinwa pledged to invest in education, healthcare, and skill acquisition to empower youth and women, driving growth and stability. He expressed a desire to serve the people and focus on human capital development, highlighting his political experience as a former councillor, local government chairman, and member of the National Assembly.

Bolarinwa aims to ensure that governance reflects fairness, inclusivity, and justice, which he believes will strengthen the economy and promote agricultural and enterprise development. Abolaji Afolabi, chairman of the Central Planning Committee for the 2027 aspirants, supported Bolarinwa's vision, indicating a collective desire for better leadership in Kwara State.
