Philip Aduda Resigns from PDP Amid Internal Crises

Philip Aduda, a former Senator representing the Federal Capital Territory from 2011 to 2023, has officially resigned from the People's Democratic Party (PDP). His resignation letter, dated March 17, 2026, was addressed to the PDP chairman of Karu Ward in Abuja and takes immediate effect.

In his letter, Aduda cited ongoing internal issues within the party as the primary reason for his departure. He expressed gratitude to the PDP for providing him with a platform to serve in various electoral roles across the country.

Aduda served in the 7th, 8th, and 9th National Assemblies, and his resignation reflects significant discontent with the party's current state. The letter was formally signed and included a handwritten note, indicating the original copy was received by the Karu Ward PDP chairman.
