Gbenga Daniel Barred from Ogun APC Stakeholders Meeting

Former Governor of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, and his supporters were prevented from participating in an Ogun APC stakeholders meeting held at Adeola Odutola Hall in Ijebu Ode. The incident was highlighted in a viral video where Daniel addressed his supporters regarding the meeting's outcome.

He claimed that the invitation letter for the stakeholders meeting was null and void, as it did not include him or his supporters. The meeting was expected to include various political figures, including former local government chairmen and members of the state assembly.

Daniel criticized his political rival, Amosun, who attended the meeting, referring to him as a "successor enfant terrible." Their political rivalry dates back to 2003 when Amosun contested against Daniel, leading to a fallout during the 2007 elections when Amosun lost to Daniel. This rivalry peaked in 2011 after Daniel left office.
