Suswam Backs APC and Tinubu for 2027 Elections

On Thursday, former Benue State Governor Gabriel Suswam spoke at the APC secretariat in Makurdi, emphasizing the importance of collective action among party members in support of the current administration and the APC ahead of the 2027 elections. Suswam pledged full support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Hyacinth Alia, urging stakeholders to back the party's broader vision for the benefit of the people of Benue State and Nigeria.

He highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects, including the completion of an underpass, and commended the president's economic reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidies, describing it as a courageous measure aimed at building a stronger economic future despite short-term challenges. Suswam also noted the need for unity and security to enhance the political position of the state, while Benjamin Omal commended Suswam's decision to align with the APC and expressed confidence in the party's ability to deliver visible achievements.
