Enugu Governor Mbah Named Best South-East Governor 2025

The Hall Igbo Achiev Foundation has declared Barrister Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State, as the winner of the best South-East governor for the year 2025.

This announcement was made by Nze Sam Nwanz, the Foundation's Chief Executive Officer, in a statement. A seven-member selection committee, headed by Archbishop Emeritus Emmanuel Olisa Chukwuma, evaluated the governors in the South-East based on their performance across various sectors, particularly education, healthcare, transport, and infrastructure.

The committee noted Mbah's prioritization of the education sector, including increased budget allocations for constructing smart green schools across the state. Mbah expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing that the honor reflects the efforts of his entire team.

The award ceremony is set to take place on Thursday, April 16, at the International Conference Centre in Enugu, starting at 12 noon, and will feature the first edition of the Great Igbo Achiev Integr Excel Award.
