People First Foundation Empowers 2,500 in Kogi Central

The People First Foundation has initiated a comprehensive humanitarian program in Kogi Central, targeting the empowerment of 2,500 beneficiaries through skills acquisition, scholarships, and welfare support. Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omad, the founder, emphasized the program's design to reduce unemployment and promote self-reliance among residents.

Participants will receive training in various income-generating fields, including tailoring, fashion design, hairdressing, catering, ICT, digital marketing, carpentry, welding, and agriculture. The foundation awarded scholarships to three outstanding teenagers pursuing tertiary education, reinforcing the belief that education is a transformative tool.

Additionally, the foundation is committed to supporting elderly women, including a woman featured in a viral video, by renovating her home and providing monthly stipends and medical assistance. The foundation also announced medical outreach efforts for individuals like Mr.

Adayi Salawu and Nuhu Mustapha, who require urgent medical care. Kogi State Governor Dr.

Abdullahi Ozomata commended the foundation's impactful initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of vulnerable groups.
