Teken Thankgod Ikpaki Foundation Empowers 200 Widows

The Teken Thankgod Ikpaki Foundation conducted an outreach event in Rivers State, specifically in the Okrika Local Government Area, where they empowered 200 widows by distributing foodstuff and monetary assistance. The event, which took place during the Christmas season, aimed to support widows from the Okujagu and Ama Ibaka communities.

Teken Thankgod Ikpaki, the director of the foundation, highlighted the importance of serving others as a divine principle, stating that blessings are meant to be shared. He also mentioned that the foundation has been operating independently for 20 years without external sponsorship, relying solely on its own resources.

The foundation encourages widows and young individuals to engage in skill acquisition and entrepreneurial ventures to improve their livelihoods. Ruth Josiah, a beneficiary, expressed gratitude towards the foundation for its continuous support and commitment to uplifting the community.
