Quantus Medical Foundation Empowers 600 Girls in Health Outreach

On October 21, a United States-based non-profit organization, Quantus Medical Foundation, launched a girls’ health outreach aimed at empowering 600 students across Abia and Enugu states. The initiative, led by founder Dr. Nnenna Ihekoromadu, focuses on practical health education, personal hygiene kits, and guidance on confidence and personal safety.
At the event in Aba, Dr. Amaka Kamalu, Chief Medical Director of Aba General Hospital, encouraged students to maintain good personal hygiene and conduct themselves with dignity. She advised aspiring medical practitioners to excel in science subjects and prepare for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination.
Dr. Uzo Oguine delivered the keynote lecture, urging girls to prioritize their health and seek support for health challenges. The foundation's Patient Liaison Officers will assist students in navigating healthcare services.
Each student received a health kit and a “Dear Girl” letter from Dr. Ihekoromadu to reinforce their dignity and confidence.
