Kanyeyachukwu Autism Foundation and Lagos Government Partner for Autism Awareness Cycling Expedition

The Kanyeyachukwu Autism Foundation collaborates with the Lagos State Government, Ministry of Youth and Sports, and the National Sports Commission (NSC) to organize a historic cross-country cycling expedition from Enugu to Lagos, ending on April 2, 2026, in commemoration of World Autism Awareness Day. The cycling expedition, tagged "RideWithKany," is not just a physical journey but a global social awareness campaign to mobilize communities, governments, and institutions towards deeper understanding and acceptance of individuals on the autism spectrum.

The initiative includes stops in major cities across five states, offering free medical consultations, developmental screenings, and autism-related guidance to the public. Kanyeyachukwu Tagbo Okek, a 16-year-old Nigerian artist and autism advocate, leads the expedition, aiming to amplify autism awareness and promote inclusivity and support for neurodiverse individuals.
