Bauchi Foundation Supports 1,200 Widows in Kogi Outreach

The Bauchi Jennif Etuh Foundation organized a significant outreach event for widows in Kogi State, specifically in the Dekina Local Government Area, to commemorate its 5th anniversary. The outreach, held at St.

Martin's Catholic Church, brought together 1,200 widows from eight communities, reaffirming the foundation's mission to empower women and provide quality healthcare, education, and economic support. Mr.

Joe Otu, the program manager, highlighted the foundation's commitment to ensuring that women feel valued and not forgotten. The event featured Brother Salami, who delivered a message of hope, referencing Ruth 1:1-5 to remind attendees of God's constant love.

Participants received curated gift packs containing food items, clothing, and financial support. This outreach follows a landmark event in December 2025, where the foundation assisted 1,000 widows in Kaduna State, marking the largest single health insurance intervention in the area.

The foundation plans to sustain its efforts with eight free medical outreach programs across six states throughout the year.
