G Empower Foundation Sponsors Youth Broadcasting Graduates

The G Empower Foundation, founded by philanthropist Mr. Grant Offor, held a graduation ceremony on an unspecified date for 27 youth sponsored at the Apha Institute of Broadcast Communication in Port Harcourt. During the event, Offor emphasized the importance of professionalism and ethics in the broadcasting profession, stating that the media must combat misinformation and disinformation. He highlighted the role of credible communication in shaping public consciousness and preserving democracy. Mr. Sam Chikweri, representing the G Empower Foundation's management committee, and Chief Kalada Iyerego Orubo, the managing director of the institute, acknowledged the foundation's investment in the future of the graduates. Orubo noted that the school aims to set benchmarks for quality broadcast education in Nigeria and Africa, training individuals in various disciplines, including public speaking and broadcasting. Graduate Mr. John Peter reflected on the practical sessions and the preparation for real-world challenges ahead.
