41 Students Graduate from EMT Foundation Skills Program

On a recent graduation ceremony in Effurun, Delta State, 41 students completed the EMT Foundation's vocational skills acquisition program, which focuses on life-saving skills. The program, founded by Dr.

Esther Matthew Tonlagha, aims to boost self-reliance and strengthen community resilience by equipping vulnerable individuals with practical skills. Dr.

Tonlagha noted that the initiative not only provides certification but also tools for economic independence, enabling graduates to contribute meaningfully to society. She highlighted the importance of commitment and resilience as graduates navigate future challenges.

Additionally, Dr. Tonlagha announced a grant of N1 million to support the 41 beneficiaries as they transition into independent business practices, which is expected to significantly accelerate the program's impact at the grassroots level.

The foundation's vision is rooted in the belief that empowering individuals with relevant skills can uplift families and communities.
