Adeleke Orders Arrests After Attacks on Accord Party

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has ordered the Osun State Police Command to arrest those responsible for recent attacks on Accord Party properties in Osogbo. The directive follows a series of violent incidents, including vandalism and destruction of public property, attributed to thugs allegedly linked to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Adeleke convened an emergency security council meeting to discuss the escalating violence and emphasized the need for a strategic approach to prevent future occurrences. He specifically mentioned the need to arrest members of a gang led by Asiri Eniba, who have been terrorizing the state.

The governor criticized the police for their inaction and called for immediate arrests to protect public property and maintain peace. He also noted that police actions should extend beyond current measures to effectively deter such criminal activities.
