NNPC Raises Petrol Price Again, Sparking Outrage in Nigeria

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has increased petrol prices for the second time in a week, with retail outlets in Abuja adjusting prices to 905-955 per liter. This move has sparked public outrage and concerns over inflation, as fuel supply issues from Dangote Refinery have also been reported.

The price hikes are exacerbating the economic challenges faced by Nigerians, leading to higher transport fares and deepening frustrations. Billi Gilli Harry of the Petroleum Product Retail Outlet Owners Association confirmed the price adjustments.
