Ardo Challenges INEC Over NDC Registration Process

Ardo has initiated legal action against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) regarding the registration of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). He alleges that the NDC's registration process deviated from established procedures and did not undergo proper scrutiny.

This lawsuit arises amidst ongoing controversies related to the registration of new political parties, with INEC having announced in February 2026 that only two out of 171 political associations were approved during a quarterly consultative meeting with political party leaders in Abuja.
