Ndidi Completes Super Eagles Squad for Friendlies

Wilfred Ndidi has arrived in Antalya, Turkey, to join the Super Eagles, completing a 22-man squad for upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan. Head coach Eric Chell had previously named Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, and Ademola Lookman in the squad.

The Super Eagles will face Iran on March 27 at 4 p.m. and Jordan on March 31 at 8 p.m. Ndidi's presence is expected to bring leadership and balance to the squad ahead of the matches.

However, Calvin Bassey has withdrawn from the squad due to a back injury sustained during club duties. The team held its first training session at 4 p.m. local time, focusing on fitness drills, ball circulation, pressing exercises, and small-sided games to assess player readiness.

The technical crew will intensify tactical preparations in subsequent sessions leading up to the matches.
