Poco Lee Released from UK Detention Amid Rape Charges

Poco Lee was released from detention in the UK after facing serious charges, including two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and two counts of assault by penetration. These charges were formally brought against him at Snaresbrook Crown Court in London, where the alleged offences occurred in Tower Hamlets on July 23.

Poco Lee first appeared before Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 18, and his case was subsequently transferred to Snaresbrook Crown Court, which scheduled a plea and hearing for September 15, 2026. Close associates of Poco Lee confirmed via social media that the complainant had dropped the case, with one of Burna Boy’s associates labeling the allegations as false.

Additionally, streamer Peller claimed during a livestream that the complainant had withdrawn the case. Poco Lee had traveled to the UK earlier in August for the Davido and Friends concert at Crystal Palace Bowl and remained legally presumed innocent throughout the proceedings.
