Bruno Fernandes has recorded 20 assists in the 2025-2026 Premier League season, placing him alongside legends Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne in the list of players with the most assists in a single Premier League season. Fernandes did not provide any assists in his first seven league appearances of the season but found his form to help Manchester United push for a Champions League spot.

His 20th assist came during a match against Nottingham Forest. Cesc Fàbregas, who played for Arsenal and Chelsea, achieved 17 assists in the 2007-2008 season and 18 assists in the 2014-2015 season.

Frank Lampard provided 18 assists in the 2004-2005 season while playing for Chelsea. Mohamed Salah also recorded 18 assists in the 2024-2025 season.

Mesut Özil had 19 assists in the 2015-2016 season, and Kevin De Bruyne reached 20 assists in the 2019-2020 season.
