Nigerian Brothers Empower Players Through Basketball

Olutobi and Iseolupo Adepitan, British-Nigerian brothers and founders of Educational Basketball, have dedicated nearly a decade to providing opportunities for young Nigerian basketball players. Their organization, officially launched in 2015, aims to transform basketball into a means of education, discipline, and life-changing opportunities.

Inspired by their upbringing in Houston, Texas, a major basketball hub, the Adepitan brothers returned to Nigeria with the vision of offering similar opportunities to local youth. As basketball's popularity has surged in Nigeria, they are currently in discussions for a potential collaboration with Nike, which could significantly enhance their mission.

The brothers' efforts come at a time when the Nigerian basketball fanbase is growing, with playoff games now sparking widespread conversations among young Nigerians who stay up late to watch games. Their goal extends beyond improving athletic skills; they seek to build a system that supports local talent in achieving success.
