FRSC Arrests Military Impersonator, Convicts 245 Traffic Offenders in Abuja Operation

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Abuja arrested a military impersonator and convicted 245 traffic offenders during a recent operation to curb violations in the Federal Capital Territory. The crackdown, part of Operation Restore Sanity IV, targeted reckless driving and traffic violations along specific corridors.

The FRSC, in collaboration with the Nigerian Correctional Service and Nigerian Army Brigade Guards, arraigned a total of 254 offenders for 563 offenses. The convictions included various infractions such as seatbelt violations, driver license issues, overloading, route violations, dangerous driving, and more.

The operation aimed to enhance road safety and discipline among motorists in the region.
