Fubara Appoints Six New Permanent Secretaries in Rivers

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has approved the appointment of six new Permanent Secretaries within the state civil service. This decision was communicated in a statement from the Head of Service, Inyingi Brown.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Freddy Ndigbara, Fortune Akpila, Promise Oguzie, Ibisoye Lolomari Nwankwo, Ibiyemiebara Joseph Uzoma, and Mercy Dagogo Iboroma. They are expected to assume their positions by 12 noon on July 29, 2026, prior to their swearing-in ceremony, which will be conducted by Governor Fubara at the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt.

The appointments aim to bolster the administrative leadership of the Rivers State Civil Service.
