Governor Fubara to Inaugurate 10 Major Projects in Rivers

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara will commence the inauguration of 10 major people-oriented projects across the state on Monday, as part of his administration’s initiative to enhance infrastructure development and improve the wellbeing of residents. Dr Dagogo Wokoma, Secretary to the State Government, announced that the inauguration will run until August 31, 2026.

The projects include significant roads, healthcare facilities, and educational infrastructure. The inauguration will kick off with the Buguma-Degema-Abonnema Road, followed by the Egwi-Afara-Mba Road, Omademe Internal Roads, and the New Air Force Base Runway.

Additional projects include the Elele-Egbeda-Omoku Dual Carriageway, Captain Elechi Polytechnic Entrepreneurship Centre, Agba Ndele Road and Bridge, New Zonal Hospital, Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, New General Hospital, and Bonny National Grammar School. Wokoma emphasized these projects as evidence of Fubara’s commitment to community transformation and urged residents to support the administration’s agenda for development and prosperity.
