Fubara Walks Out of APC Screening Without Comment

Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of River State, attended the APC screening exercise for the upcoming 2027 governorship election but chose not to speak to journalists after completing the process. Fubara arrived at the venue, located in Plateau State, under tight security and was seen leaving shortly after the exercise concluded.

When approached for comments, he declined to respond, simply stating "no comment" before walking away. The screening session was conducted by the APC screening committee chaired by Professor Nentaw Goshw Yilwatda.

Although the details of the screening session were not disclosed, it is understood that the exercise focused on party loyalty and the governor's record in preparation for the next election.
