Fubara Swears In New SSG and Chief of Staff in River State

On Thursday, Governor Fubara of River State swore in Dagogo Wokoma as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Sunni Ewul as Chief of Staff. During the ceremony, Fubara warned against the politicization of their offices, stressing that their roles should be strictly administrative and service-driven.

He advised the new Chief of Staff against holding unauthorized meetings or engaging in external political activities without approval. Fubara described the appointments as duties rather than political patronage and expressed confidence that Wokoma's academic background as a mathematics lecturer would contribute to effective governance.

He reiterated the administration's commitment to ongoing projects and the advancement of inherited programs, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace and progress in the state. The governor also cautioned that any actions capable of bringing disrepute to the government would not be tolerated and assured that the activities of the new appointees would be closely monitored to align with the administration's agenda.
