Fuji Legend K1 Decries Abuja Airport Incident, Issues Unreserved Apology

Fuji music legend K1, also known as Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, issued an unreserved apology for an incident at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on August 5, 2025. In a statement, K1 expressed regret for the disruption caused and denied allegations of carrying an alcohol flask, clarifying that it contained water due to a medical condition that required him to stay hydrated.

He emphasized that security procedures were followed, with CCTV footage verifying that the flask was filled with water in the lounge area before boarding. K1 reaffirmed his patriotism and commitment to promoting the Nigerian brand globally, stating that he would never tarnish the reputation he has built over five decades.

The heartfelt apology was extended to all affected parties, including the Presidency, Ministry of Aviation, and his fans worldwide.
