FAAN: K1 De Ultimate Violated Airport Security With Alcohol

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has revealed that Fuji music legend King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, violated airport security protocols by attempting to board a ValueJet flight with a 200ml bottle of alcohol at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on August 5. FAAN's Director of Public Affairs and Consumer Protection, Obiageli Orah, stated that the musician was warned multiple times about the violation but refused to comply, breaching both the Nigeria Civil Aviation Security Programme and the International Civil Aviation Organization's regulations.

The singer's actions led to the suspension of the ValueJet flight crew by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority for alleged safety protocol breaches. FAAN emphasized that regardless of social status, individuals must adhere to established rules for aviation safety, with investigations ongoing to hold any culpable parties accountable.
