13 African Countries Eligible for Visa on Arrival in Lebanon

Lebanon has introduced a visa-on-arrival policy for citizens from 13 African countries, allowing them to enter the country without securing a visa beforehand. The eligible countries include Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria, Comoros, Djibouti, and Somalia.

Upon arrival at Lebanese airports or land border crossings, travelers will be issued a one-month tourist visa, provided they meet certain entry requirements. These requirements include presenting a confirmed return ticket or onward travel ticket, proof of accommodation through a hotel booking or verified residential address in Lebanon, and at least $2,000 in cash or a certified bank cheque.

Failure to meet these conditions may lead to refusal of entry, even for those eligible for a visa on arrival.
