Uzbekistan Allows Visa-Free Travel for Eight Nations

Uzbekistan has officially designated eight countries whose citizens can travel to the nation without a visa for an unlimited period. This announcement was made on the country's official website, detailing the nations eligible for what is termed an unlimited visa-free regime.

The countries listed are the Republic of Azerbaijan, Georgia, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, and Ukraine. These nations share historical and geographic connections with Uzbekistan, primarily as former republics of the Soviet Union or within the post-Soviet sphere.

Unlike standard visa arrangements that limit stays to 30, 60, or 90 days, Uzbekistan's unlimited category imposes no time restrictions on the duration of stay for qualifying nationals. This policy provides significantly greater flexibility compared to typical short-stay exemptions found in most bilateral travel agreements.

Citizens from other regions, including Asia, Western Europe, and the Americas, are not included in this arrangement and must adhere to Uzbekistan's standard visa requirements.
