Georgia Allows Visa-Free Entry for 50 Countries' Citizens

The Georgian government has released a list of 50 countries whose citizens can enter Georgia without a visa, provided they hold a valid visa or residence permit from those nations. This policy is grounded in Article 2(1)(a) of the Law of Georgia of 8 May 2015 on Amendments to the Law of Georgia on Legal Status of Aliens and Stateless Persons (No. 3602-ES).

The countries listed include members from the European Union, several Gulf Cooperation Council states, and nations such as the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea. Under this arrangement, nationals from these countries do not need to apply for a separate Georgian visa, as long as they meet the entry conditions defined in the approving legislation.

Notably, no African countries are included in this list.
